hello fall.

I realize that fall officially arrived over a month ago. But just in the past week, the trees in this region have really begun to reveal their true colors - the reds, oranges and yellows of a stunning fall in the Ozarks. Who could possibly ask for better weather than bright sunshine and 80 degrees on the first day of November. I decided to take the camera and snap a few shots of some of the gorgeous fall color making its appearance in our yard...

OK. So, brown leaves here...

It was such a beautiful day, the dogs wanted to be outside, as well...

After Sophia woke up from a three hour (yes, three hour) nap this afternoon, we loaded up and headed to the park to take some fall shots. Sophia got to swing in the baby swing all by herself for the first time!

Sophia wasn't full of smiles today. Instead, she was full of quizzical looks. Not sure why, except that she really likes to study things. Take it all in. Below are just some of the photos we took today. I'm going to make a concerted effort to upload more of them to our flickr page, so check back there soon for more fall goodness. In the meantime, enjoy!

Happy fall, ya'll!!
